Minimum Requirements to Join
- Reside in the Sparta Fire Department response area PRIOR to becoming a member of the department
- Posess a high school diploma or GED (Must provide proof)
- Have a valid Illinois driver's license
- Not have been convicted of a felony (a background check will be conducted)
